Italy Takes #1 in Wine Spectator’s Top 100 of 2018

With the recently announced Wine Spectator Top 10 wines of 2018, one of Italy’s most coveted wines, Sassicaia 2015, prevails over Bordeaux, Rioja, Champagne, Napa and other great regions to take #1 wine of 2018. Recognition for the exceptional quality of Italian wines continued with Castello di Volpaia’s Chianti Classico Riserva 2015 in the #3 slot and Terre Nere Etna Rosso San Lorenzo 2016 at #9, for a total of 3 out of 10 coveted spots.
