The consortium was born in 2014 with the aim to promote the internationalization of small wine cellars. Today, Diwinexport counts 11 Italian wineries that have deep respect for geographical and territorial diversities they share. The philosophy of all the producers is the creation of value in every single step of the production, from soil to bottle and maintaining the value of environment, territory, human resources, bio-diversity, rural beauty and hard work. Diwinexport is not a distributor but a network of small wine companies that share the export market and promote themselves as a group. All the 11 wine companies part of the consortium pay particular attention to the protection of the natural balance between the vineyard and the surrounding environment while producing the grapes: this means that maintaining the fertility of the soil is an essential prerequisite. Some companies work with natural biological processes while others follow ecological, sustainable protocols. There are 6 different regions involved in the project: Piedmont, Lombardy, Veneto, Puglia, Marche, Calabria and Sicily. 11 wine cellars, one logistic place where we collect all our wines ready for the importers to be picked up.

La Mesma is a family business meticulously run by the three Rosina sisters: Paola, Francesca and Anna. It is located in Monterotondo (Province of Alessandria) at the very heart of the Gavi DOCG region in Italy.
Nestled in the peaceful, green countryside between Piedmont and Liguria, seemingly far from the sea, the region benefits considerably from coastal influences. The estate’s Gavi La Mesma DOCG production relies on 64 acres of Cortese grape vines planted in fine medium-blend soil on southward exposed hillsides at an altitude of about 984 feet. Their aim is to make expressive wines through hard work on the vineyards and minimal intervention in the cellar. La Mesma wines must preserve varietal integrity, vintage and a sense of place. They are exported all over the world. The farm is a currently in organic conversion. Their goal is to ensure a long and healthy life to their vines. La Mesma encourages biodiversity: their vines are pruned with the Simonit and Sirch method. A final selection of grapes is made during picking, prior to soft pressing.
